I apologize if this has already been provided, but is there an idiot's guide for new ECUFlash users that would want to flash the latest ROM (B01C) to their USDM BRZ/FR-S with a Tactrix cable and their own laptop? Something like:
1) Download and install ECUFlash (download link)
2) Download latest USDM ROM file (download link)
3) Connect laptop to car's OBDII port via purchased Tactrix cable (link for purchasing above)
4) Use ECUFlash software to flash downloaded ROM to your car
5) etc....
I'm sure there's more to it than that, but I'd really like to give this a try and get the latest ROM on my FR-S without having to talk the local Toyota dealership into it.
