That's interesting!
My car is a 2014 build and the stock gaskets are still in perfect condition as I removed the tail lights when the car was 120km old.
Although I don't recall any difference in the thickness of the gaskets between the tail lights i removed, and the TOMs ones. I'll take a closer look and report back
I'm going to wash the car for the first time this weekend, so I'll have a look afterwards and see if any moisture makes it through on either side.
