I am looking to lower my FR-S and stick the wheels out a little more. I do not want to tuck the tires in but I want to lower it just enough to have a couple mm in between the tire and fender. How many inches should I lower it?

What size (how many mm) of wheel spacers should I get? And also I have heard that it is not good to put wheel spacers on the front tires? What do you guys think?
