Nope. It wasn't that good. Anemic throttle response, it was beginning to fall apart despite religious preventative maintenance, driving position was the same as every other econobox, old stereo with blown speakers.
Hell, I was getting ready to drive my girlfriend home one evening, when I slid the selector into D4 white stopped, and *bang*! Drive axle broke. Car wouldn't move.
After I got my forester in 2005, I got a good comparison & I realized just how crappy the accord was. The thing has trouble just going up a normal incline.
