I don't understand why people always state that a lighter crank pulley will do nothing for a supercharger. By placing a smaller pulley, you are reducing the mass moment of inertia at the crank and the crank is the main component that drives the supercharger.

It may be negligible at high RPMs, but when you don't see that much boost at low RPMs, I believe it can help increase the angular acceleration at the crank. It works similar to a flywheel.
