Went from XR2 F / XR4 R then to XR2 square which gave a bit more rear bias for better rotation under trailbraking, and will be testing a XR1 F / XR2 R combo next.

Yes tried all of that. Even with a very agressive pad in the front, and a TRD blue in the back (which is barely above stock) it still had too much rear bias.
