I'm not talkin' bout TOYOTA FT-86 here. I'm talking about SUBARU STI coupe. I careless if Toyota FT-86 doesn't come out AWD. Like OldSkoolToys said "Who keeps saying Subaru isn't making their own?" It's not like Subaru HAVE TO use FT-86 concept chassis. They can say "F*** you, Toyota. We gonna make our own STI chassis." (I'm pretty sure they won't say f u, but you get the idea).

Oh and for your #4 statement "4. They are setting the weight distribution for drifitng." I don't think, Toyota doing weight distribution for "Drifting". Weight distribution can help drifting.
No actually, they said they thought about doing 50/50, but for drifiting, that weight distribution doesn't help, so they offset it a bit.
So technically, yeah, lol, they did setup the distribution for optimal drifting.

My statement was to show that they are going to make their own version, it had nothing to do with stating they're making AWD. Infact, it said the opposite. An executive of Subaru's in Australia has already stated, way before production mind you, that Australia is not getting this car because it doesn't have AWD. Thats a pretty bold statement to make to the public this early in its development. Basically, that tells me, that as of the near future, no AWD is planned. If there was, the executive wouldn't have said anything yet about the car.

But because he did, he probably has inside information (he does work for subaru) that they don't plan on making an AWD platform.
