I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but pushing the button does not reset this either. What is worse is that the lights go off so it gives you the false impression that it does. It appears to require a restart.
I routinely make a u-turn on my way to work because of a "right turn only" at the bottom of an off-ramp, and I
never slide when I do it.
This morning I engaged this at the left I take to go onto the highway and once I hit the highway I stabbed the button thinking it would turn it off and drove almost all the way to work like that. When I made my u-turn, I spun the tires and slung the car around it, which has never happened before. Good thing I didn't need that particular nanny at any point on the way.
