Just a random question, but what made you go from Mustang to 86? Cuz lets face it, Mustang & 86 are totally different animal. I'm not saying you made great choice, bad choice, hating on Mustang or anything. It's interesting to see good amount of members go from Supra, MR2, Mustang, Corvette, Cayman, S2k, & other high hp sports car into 86. I know you wrote love for small toss-able cars, but there gotta be more reason than that IMO.

Again welcome to the forum & hope enjoy your stay
Don't get me wrong. I love the Mustang. It was a fun car and a pleasure to hear the exhaust note cruising around town, but you can also tell it has a lot of weight to throw around with it too.

The driver input on the FR-S is much more crisp than the Mustang. The brake feel, sharper steering, etc, it just feels much more responsive and has a willingness to be pushed to the limit, whereas if you screw up one time in the 5.0, it will make you pay for it. You can tell when you sit in the FR-S, it has a more driver oriented feel also (of course I didn't have a track pack Mustang with the Recaro seats, so I can't back my statement compared to them).

I wanted a reasonably priced drivers car that I could play with, and this one answered with flying colors.
