Power...even if this car put out 300 hp, 300 lb.ft of torque plenty will still say its not enough because the Mustang, Camaro or Challenger still put out more. Maybe its me acting like an old man...but I don't find lots of power to be all that useful in most driving situations. For the majority of cars I find 150 to the 170 range acceptable. Only slow, heavy and cumbersome stuff like the CUVs, minivans and trucks feel they need to be in the 250 range. I've heard the complaints about 200 hp, and after a test drive I concluded that not only this was more power than my previous cars but even better it was power I could easily use. If my driving routine is so slow that 420 hp is a total waste...why do I want the fuel bill of such an engine when I can't use it to its potential...?
The mustang and the camaro are in different leagues, so I have no idea why people compare the power of the twins to the muscle car category. OF COURSE the mustang/camaro are going to have more power. But they handle like tuna boats (They're getting better though, still lol). I saw a dodge challenger pull into a tight parking spot and he needed 2 tries at it.
I look at the twins reviews, and I see A TON of people saying "NEEDS STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROLS," seriously? People are getting so spoiled. My celica had NOTHING. No working ac, I was lucky if the radio worked. But she was my baby. She had ~140HP from the factory but God knows she didn't have that much when I finally got her. It's much more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.
