So I just copied my entire iTunes folder (In m4a) to a mini USB drive. No big deal. Brought it out to the car (2013 FR-S with OEM base HU), sounds better than bluetooth audio, but (!), I can't sort it by artist/album/song.
I've poked around a bit (Searching for USB here apparently yields no results o.O), but ultimately, I'm clueless as to how this works. Some of the folders on the drive are titled with the artist, some with the album, but when it gets to the car it doesn't matter; only the album titles are viewable when I push the menu/list button, and the only thing that makes sense is that the albums are in alphabetical order by artist. That wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't a tremendous pain in the ass to search by album.
Any insight or help as to how I can view that list by artist instead of by album would be greatly appreciated
