That is what I wanted to hear. Clutch engagement point isn't my biggest complaint, and this is my first manual, so the "softness" didn't bother me much, but I ended up driving another manual car that had a "soft" clutch and realized just exactly how soft ours really was. I'm tempted to pull that helper spring out as well, but my only fear is the fact that it seems to be irreversible should you find you prefer the super soft clutch and/or bring the car in for warranty for some transmission/clutch related issue.
I liked my sti clutch, but always thought it was a little too stiff. Would prefer the resistance somewhere between what the brz is from the factory and what the sti is from the factory. How stiff does it make the clutch?
