Electronic Data Recorder (EDR, aka CDR) Location

Hey all, I'm new, and I had a question out of curiosity. The FR-S uses a Bosch-supplied EDR that records up to two 5-second crash incidents [source 1][source 2]. Does anybody know the location of the EDR? I couldn't find it in the service manual (but I could just not be looking hard enough).

Some people have said it's not accessible or something, but Bosch EDRs support data retrieval both via OBDII and directly from the EDR unit (because the car's internal data bus could easily be damaged in a serious collision), so the unit must be physically accessible somehow. Since the EDR depends on a signal from the SRS unit for some of its operation, I would imagine it is very close to the SRS unit if Toyota engineers are worth their money--but that's just a guess.

If you have some input, be sure to cite the source from where you got the information.
