Kind of the high tech look I'm going for. Like to look at my cars data while at a red light or something especially since I'm paranoid about maintenance.

I mounted it with the arkon arm mount.

There is, I'm using the mini one so it doesn't stick out. I think other bt dongles refresh your gauges faster but I only paid $12 for mine. Be careful where you purchase yours from because of numerous cases of knockoffs failing.
Pros of this set up:
-Its inexpensive ($40~) without tablet
-Tablet is detachable (to hide or use indoor)
-Doubles as a phone mount if you wanted
-Easy view
-Sturdy
-Covers up the ugly Frs manual have controls to an extent
-adjustable, can tilt up down left or right
-something for passenger to do (movies, games, media)
-keeping ac vents clear
Cons:
-sunglare at certain angles (maybe a matte screen protector?)
-a bit of a pain to install
-minor modification to dash (cutting hole)
Pretty happy with the setup, I wanted torque without spending a ton on a tablet head unit setup. There weren't a lot of options to mount the tablet. I wanted it to he detachable since I use the tablet to read books. At the same time I wanted the brz/10 series hvac but couldn't justify spending over $600 for it.
Tablet is rooted and flashed with timours rom. I have an unlimited data plan on my phone to tether a wifi for the tablet if needed.
