The BRZ is a VERY good platform for modding. But more power is needed. So you FI it. Guess what, no arguments that the motor is modded. No warranty fights either.
I have the A/T. My last autocross I found that the ECU had learned my driving style and provided me with more torque. No longer had to shift into first for 180's. Launches were great.
This car has it. It needs to be worked like an S2000 that can rev up to 9000 rpm. How well was that rev level received initially. People bitched.
If you want a muscle car buy one. If you want a SPORTS CAR buy this or a Ferrari.
