Just got back from a 4 year tour in Okinawa. The Autobacs/Upgarage there is fairly stagnant, being such a small island. Neat to go in there, but it's almost cheaper buying stuff from the states and shipping to your APO/FPO. Make friends with the local guys and junkyards. I used to go to the yards at least once every other week, and that still wasn't enough! Everything got picked either the same night or next morning when something decent came in.
I remember seeing an FD come in right before a place closed. I came in late morning and it was a shell. Crazy.
