I think z4 is pretty close... well at least much closer than the gap here.
In Australia, cheapest Z4 is around US$79,000. Which is completely ridiculous. They can charge this much because people still buy it, really.

Or did you mean Nissan Z? If so, I think Nissan Z is like 15k or 20k more expensive here if I remember correctly.

I'm also not saying that 86 is a flop in US as I also don't know where that article get their info from....
