I totally respect the desire to keep it Japanese. I wanted to do the same with my Z. Id say go with the VQ35HR or VQ37VHR. there are plenty of builds out there making a ton of power on N/A, single turbo, twin turbo and superchargers. I think a pretty sweet swap and build could be had for $15000. (way more than i'll be able to afford lol)
