Which basically puts to bed the rumors that this is a poor selling car by those who are in the North American market.

I guess global sales are down because of the European market's unique difficulties for non-European vehicles due to import duties, outrageous fuel taxation, etc. Basically it's cheaper to buy a used Porsche than a new GT86 there, and that creates competition that the 86 was not designed to compete with.

The rest of the world, I think, is seeing better sales.

Remember, the European market is so hard that the Impreza line is being discontinued there.

So, I'd expect that we could even at the 86 discontinued in Europe while the rest of the world will still be able to buy new models. Not sure if that'd happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.
