The AE86 chassis was really ahead of its time back in the 80's the LSD, 4age's TVIS & more was right for its time, If toyota will make another 4 cylinder rwd sports coupe im sure they will make sure that its going to fit in the 21st century's technology. I'm sure it will have a double wish bone suspension, independent rear suspension, optional 4 piston calipers front and 2 piston rear calipers. but as a owner of a 25yrs old corolla what i really had hard time fixing and preventing problem was some of the weak major parts like the rear axles and the T50 transmission I had to de tune my motor so it wont break more parts. hopefully this time toyota will makes them stronger, im sure back in the 80's engineers didnt expect that a ae86 will be powered by a 200+ hp motors
