Last session won't be timed for the sake of admin stuff, gathering to announce the winners, and clean up for those not die-hard into tracking. I also like the fact to assist our track organizers (NCRC) without having to do all that we need them to do at the end of the last session and for the participants to not stay any longer in the evening.

By chance if an experienced driver produces his/her fastest time in the first session, then that's collected. As the transponders will be given out before the track goes hot.

Are you in favor of timing 1-3 or 1-4?

Imagine if Jonny trackboy shows up and strips a bolt swapping brake pads or breaks something on his car before he goes out in the first session.
Now it takes him a couple of hours to get it fixed and he just makes it out for the first time in session 3.
With the current rules, he would only get one timed session.

Timing session 4 would at least give an opportunity to have a 2nd session and still finish the day early.

Just sayin
