Rocket Special" (oh, what a feeling -- ha ha ha) and not a "Feels Really Slow" or "Fucking Retarded Sportscar" I'm still in.
Still, the chassis layout designation worked better for the MR-2 simply because there are so few MR layout cars, and most (if not all?) are exotics. The MR-2 was sort of a poorman's Ferarri, and even took some styling cues from cars like that.
But there are TONS of FR layout cars, and all traditional sports cars have a FR layout.
Then again, what's in a name...?
