Well the way I see it, alot of it is marketing hype - not that there's anything wrong with that. It's good to get people excited over your product. I think Shiv produces some great, well thought out products, and he's here to make money, not feed the poor or change the world. It's a well tuned Vortech supercharger packaged with a decent header for a fairly decent price. I think it's a good idea to sell packages like these because all these things work together to produce a much better overall result - you can put together a better kit, but it will probably be a bit more expensive and will require more effort and due diligence on the buyer's part. With this kit you just buy the whole package and don't have to think too much about it - I think that's probably what he meant about convincing people to go FI. When most people go to a restaurant, they don't want have to cook their own meal.
The only unfortunate part he doesn't provide options without the header - which I understand. It's just a no go for me because I don't like boxer rumbler (just personal preference).

Shiv, you said "Hopefully what we have to offer will make some people who never thought of going FI reconsider" but I am struggling to find this to be true. At $3800, this really doesn't make me reconsider anything.
of course, there isn't much you can do about it. It's a vortech unit. It's expensive. It is a good price. But it's just not "make me reconsider" price. It's only a couple hundred of bucks off of the tuner version.
plus I'm not a fan of making some of the modifications to the car that the vortech kit requires. IIRC, there's some grinding, etc. looks like I'll be staying NA for a while.
if vishnu wants to lead the way with FI, I believe it will take building a custom open flash kit and offering it at a low price. Somewhere around $3k +-$200 would make me reconsider FI.
