To me, it's not a good measure of fuel economy, because of the variable of how much is left in the tank upon fill up.

Some of us still have to drive to work every day, one of the few sensible things about this car is the fuel economy, it's understandable when owners aren't hitting the 30 mpg advertised mileage (by as much as 30% in some cases) in their brand new 2.0L 4-banger.

I know if I bought a car and worked the math out that I only needed to fill up on Tuesdays + trips and I was filling up 2x a week regardless I'd be at least a little disappointed.

While I agree with you wholeheartedly, it's definitely a reasonable thing to post about.
