Stock intake and Catback are good for nearly 400hp. As is the TMIC. An air filter, down pipe and tune is more than enough for stage 2. Exhaust will net a bit more power and give a different look but that's it.
Stock down pipe is what kills the car. The STI, even the WRX is a bargain considering what you get. They do everything you could want a car to do, and they're fun.
If you want luxury and still want an sti, get the limited and throw some extra sound deadening in it or something, shit. Lol

I didn't trade up to the 08 hatch because it had excessive sound deadening. The steering also felt vague and had little feedback compared to the 05. Still wish my 05 was a hatch, but it's been a great car otherwise. I'm looking forward to testing out the 2015 if the dealership allows test drives.
