Im thinking just a flat piece of abs not extending out past the bumper in any way, but just to cover a hole left by a muffler delete to avoid a parachute effect.

The clarification on this is whether the underbody panels form an entire flat piece that deliberately directs airflow to the rear diffuser.
This means: Unless you have a custom underbody flat tray, everything else is "free" since it has no effect on aerodynamics that would constitute an advantage.
