Exactly. All the power on the bottom means you spin your wheels and then have no power to haul off.
3k is reached VERY fast. 2-3k is excellent for cruising and efficiency, so having not so much power there is good for maintaining fuel economy for a DD'd FI car. Want the power, then drop gears and keep above 4k.... assuming the tune (whether with FI or staying NA) and exhaust has eliminated the torque dip.
Debating between the KW and Vortech. I don't want to build the engine, and I don't want to keep climbing a power mountain whenever I upshift, but I don't want the power to give out a full 1-1.5k rpm before redline.
Maybe Vortech with smallest pulley offered that keeps the blower's revs within the 50k spec?
Innovate really should have put a blower on there that can keep up up top. They picked the better blower design but didn't use enough of a blower.
