If you pre-ordered there shouldn't be any negotiation. With a group buy it should all be sorted out already, so you wouldn't have to negotiate.

But lets say you're buying it off the lot.

This is a brand new car with high demand, and I'll doubt you'll be able to negotiate with them, but you're asking about the WRX and accord so I'll explain it.

Since most subaru dealers want to sell WRXs/Imprezas (I believe that's their golden car too) the price negotiation for them isn't as easy as an accord. You'll go back and forth with a dealer until someone gives in. Normally its the buyer since new buyers are generally unsure and pressured into getting the car by the dealer.

Its just like negotiating for any new car. Do your research first by phone and e-mail and then go to the dealership. Talk with DIFFERENT dealers on the phone by checking the website and pit them against each other.


Oh and you have to be firm, assertive and have an unmoving stand on your decisions.
