Coming from the VW "scene", nope. A lot of VW builds are in fact, very, very well done. You won't see them on stance blogs like canibeat though. Check out Southern Worthersee. While there are a lot of "stance" builds that make it to that huge show/event, there are ton of amazing builds that present there - restorations, OEM+ stuff, etc.
