So I found out something interesting when I installed my new header this week. I put defoulers on BOTH of my O2 sensors during the install, thinking that it would be better to control engine check issues. WRONG!! I had check engine light, rough idle/almost stalling, slip light, etc. All of the issues discussed in this thread. So this leads me to believe that people who have no had catastrophic engine failures could try replacing their front O2 sensors and it may fix it. When I took the defouler off the first O2 sensor and placed it directly into the exhaust stream, all of my issues went away. I could be mega wrong, or I could have discovered something anomalous that not even the dealers could know about.
