I'll throw an outlier hat in and say Cleveland. Cost of doing the event here would undoubtedly be cheaper all-around, will be easier to find a venue (I'd recommend the Cleveland Muni Lot) and its only a fairly reasonable 8 hour drive from the NYC area.
