Well, Marchy, good memory; that's the reason I put "winter tires" in quotes. They are what I shall call my "winter tires" for the PNW, since I don't plan on going up to the mountains, we don't have that much snow down here next to the sound and I don't "have" to go anywhere on snow covered roads.

As you recalled proper, they are actually A/S tires with "some" snow capability (darn little, so I found out).

After taking a "spin" around the neighborhood after our last snow, I figured I probably could get out in an emergency ...... but, I'm jest getten chicken in ma elder years ....
