So don't take this the wrong way when I say, it's stupid to drive on summer tires in the snow. It's not just you, I've seen it a number of times on these forums, but it's an easy way to hurt yourself or someone else. Not to mention that good samaritan probably wouldn't have had to get sandblasted by dirty snow trying to help you get free.
No offense taken. I'll spare you the sob story and details, but I've hit hard times so every penny goes to bills and food. I had to buy my wife new tires for her car so I'm SOL for a while. I know that every time I drive in the snow it's literally a coin toss, and I'm aware of the dangers it entails. I wish I had snow tires knowing what I know now, but I have to sack up and soldier on with what I got. I can only hope that if I go down I don't take anyone else out. I wanna say I'm a cautious driver when it comes to rain and snow.
