Since it looks like a few people are interested in joining in, I think I'll go with one of the routes I'm more familiar with: Redwood rd-Pinehurst rd-Grizzly Peak blvd along the East Bay hills. If we have time, we can add-on Wildcat canyon rd aswell. Here is my proposed route:

I actually need to be back early to meet up with my wife for brunch, so I say we meet up at Peets around 8am, leaving by 8:30. The area is pretty popular with cyclists aswell, so the early start should minimize that. Route should take around 1.5 hrs with a break or two along the way. We'll be ending at the Safeway by Orinda, which is right on Camino Pablo, which should spit us back out onto 24 for easy freeway access. Should be plenty of time left for folks who want to check out the dragster with @

Same rules apply, drive within your limits/comfort, no racing, be courteous to other motorists & cyclists. Also, bring an FRS radio (walkie talkie) if you have one, we like to call out any obstacles ahead to warn people.
