Well actually with 19s you are probably going to have smaller sidewall tires which means they aren't going to be able to hold the same amount of grip as something with a larger sidewall. Which means you will probably be more likely to slide in a corner!

If you want maximum performance go with 17s(or if you are even more hardcore go with 16s!). Braking, handling, accelerating, all will be affected with smaller wheels. 18s provide all the style with a few draw backs. To be honest, there is no reason to go with 19s.
