A basemap should at a minimum have MAF scaling for the additional flow/possible change in pipe size, fuel injector scaling if injectors were changed, and possibly MAP sensor scaling if you changed yours. I would expect the car to be safe to drive and have a very safe ignition map. I would not drive if you won't have a boost gauge and wideband gauge to verify that your car is running properly.
