Realistically its your car and you should do what you prefer, but I have to agree with Wolfking...
IMO only, the first looks like the rear end is dirty, and the second to me makes my eye miss the dark part and makes it look like the rear is squished upwards as if it got rear ended.
But as I said, who cares what I think, seriously.
