Powersfrs I run e85 about 10-15% of the time just because it's about 20 miles from me. So I get it when I can. I'd run it more if it was closer. I still like to cycle a tank or two of regular 93 pump through just in case. e85 hasn't been around long enough to know of all the effects. It can be linked to corroding lines over time. It's extremely knock resistant (comparable to 105/106 octane). There's not a lot of evidence to it's long-term effects but I suspect with 10% of gas now being ethanol, it's already in the system enough to cause any effects.
Bottom line for me is I'm a little conservative with using it but it's super simple. Just pull up, fill up, switch maps, and you're good to go. It's crazy easy to live with.
