He's actually right, your warranty is not void by mods.

You should stop using the word void and replace it with "denied". Warranty is for the parts and any associated labor with replacement of faulty parts, thus aftermarket mods that may cause parts to fail is grounds for a warranty claim to be denied.

Educate yourself on how warranty contracts are structured, because it cannot be voided unless one party decides to pull out of executing it under pre-agreed conditions.
