To the OP: Please do a proper long arm suspension with decent triangulation. It will make it that much better to drive down the street and will help control the power. I am sure there has to be drag forums that cover proper suspension setups, but coming from the Jeep world, I have some buddies who have built their own suspesions and there are geometry calculators that can calculate things like articulation, COG, wheel hop, and the like so that you get the best possible setup.
