I don't mean any disrespect to you or your profession. I'm sure you know your shit and worked hard to get where you are, but I'm sure that there are personal trainers out there too that take their profession very seriously and are good at it too.
Yeah, I think I need some preparation H. I agree in regard to the abbreviations. I simply am an advocate of the profession and wanted to get clarity for people that think they are one in the same. Yes, it bothers me when they are mixed up and people think they are the same. That is my ultimate point. It takes 7 years with licensing exams to become a physical therapist. And one can walk into a facility and apply for a personal training job with only a high school diploma. And call themselves a personal trainer. I have friends that are personal trainers that just don't have the knowledge to keep people safe during their workouts. That's why personal training is pushing toward a bachelor degree with an entry level exam to be a requirement for entry into the field. That will help them a ton!

I love how you cool kids use butt hurt to described hurt feelings. There is a difference between being insulted and pointing out mistakes that were not intentional. I just hear this way too much and my goal in this field is to provide understanding about the difference. By educating the public. Carry on fellas.
