It would be neat to swap in a stock TT Aristo motor 2JZ. It has accommodations for cruise control, traction control, and the electronic throttle sensors, in addition to the cable. From doing research, and since my IS also has the later Supra/Aristo hybrid cable/electronic throttle system, I've come to find out that the electronic sensor is to achieve the same amount of energy produced going uphill as well as downhill, so your car will accelerate the same uphill as in downhill. It automatically increases and decreases the throttle position given the same input depending on elevation. Interesting tech. I wonder how this can be applied to the twins.
