Cheaper clear will definitely degrade faster than two part professional clear, but it's not like it's going to fall apart over a single year, and it would be dead simple to just wet sand and re-clear it when it does start to show it's age.
Even super high quality clear will degrade over time, there is not permanent when it comes to paint.
