What resources do you use to determine this when dieting?

The most accurate way to determine your body fat is submerging your enitre body in water, than scientists can calculate it 100% but not every person has the expenses to afford that procedure. The next best thing is buying a fat calculator. Those are usually 80% accurate. I think the way it works is it sends a electrical signal through out your body and when it returns to the machine it tells implements the lags and calculates it to body fat. Pain free but a bit pricey.
Most online body fat measurements aren't 100% accurate but it will get you somewhere to start. Every person takes in their carbs proteins, and fats differently. As my mom would say, theres people that get fat from water (not literally.) Thats why it takes years for someone to learn how their body reacts to different food.
