ASM is a privateer (supposedly) and their widebodied S2000 ran a 57.398. Their "Street" setup just recently hit a 59.990 on street tires (Yokohama AD08R) and thus hold the NA Street tire lap record now.

This has been the one problem I've had with the Griffon. They are putting down these great times on what appear to be full blown racing slicks. Even the non-street ASM S2000 was using street-able tires (A048, 60tw) which I imagine are a good second or 2 slower than actual slicks.
Don't get me wrong, the car is still very impressive and I'm doing what I can building my own car to follow their example, but I'd really like to see what it could do on less exotic tires.
