I hope you guys realize that by having the winner front money for "accountability", they are in violation of sweepstakes laws. The whole point of a promotion like this is that no money is needed to enter to win, and no money is needed to claim the prize.

Furthermore, a credit card authorization expires automatically after a short period of time if the transaction isn't completed. This type of payment hold is ineffective nor useful.

By your contest definition, a randomly selected winner will effectively pay full retail for a coilover he/she won, just because they chose to not write a review. I highly suggest you redo the rules, as this is something highly regulated by state and federal law and would be considered gambling.
