I like the good old brown rice and chicken breast. If thats too boring use chicken dark meat. I would add very little salt and than use some franks red hot sauce. 0 calories and if you love buffalo wings.

If you dislike rice because it's too bland try seasoning it when you make it. If your not too worried about your sodium intake, use 2/3 chicken stock, 1/3 water when you cook your rice.

One of my most favorite meals but i rarly make because it takes too long to prep and clean is oven baked fried chicken. Chicken breast dipped in egg whites than dipped in some seasoned corn flakes. Double dip it for more crispiness. Bake for about 45 minutes on 345 F. I usually spray the outside with some pam to prevent it from burning. All ovens are heated differently or keeps heat insulated differently, so 345 may work for me or burn your shit. Keep an eye on it the first time.

Heres another one, i would recommend in investing into a rice cooker. They're awesome. Cook your meats inside the rice cooker with your rice. Rice absorbs flavor and you kill two birds with one stone. The con is the meat can dry up real fast.

Lastly baked or sweet potatoes. You can microwave them for about 4-6 minutes or bake for 40minutes in a oven at around 425. Add olive oil or butter depends if you can afford the fats/calories from butter, for a crispier skin.

When im in a rush i always have some precooked chicken strips frozen in my fridge. I get a 21 ounce bag for 5 bucks at target lol. They also sell 90 second pre cooked rice for 1.50 2 cups.
