BTW contact info doesn't give you anything. Its your ability to pay that matters. That is determined by credit score check at the point of contract or 'show me the money' option with/when final prices are known.
If that was the case - I could have given out bogus SSNs and potentially kick other people out of the line. Dealers are just protecting their pre-order statistics. SOA fulfills allocations - its a high demand car (or so we have been told). Pre-orders are vague enough for the car to be sold to anyone on the spot.

What are you talking about not the same car? Isn't it two BRZ's? Sure they might be different trims but it is the same car. This is a SOA policy to limit people from putting multiple orders in at different locations. You can PM the dealer I quoted if you don't believe me.
This isn't an issue about ability to pay. SOA doesn't want people putting multiple orders in to beat the system to get the car sooner. This isn't about SSN or credit scores. Did you put your wife on one of the orders that you got the VON for? If so no worries. However if your name is on both VON's at different dealerships I would be concerned and would contact SOA myself.
