Is she correct, or is she bsing me?
She has zero reason to lie to you. Most shops will push a car to be totaled if they think they can't 100% fix it. They make no money when they try to fix something and it keeps coming back due to the owner not being happy. Plus they'd be just as happy to total it and sale you a new FRS I'm sure.
