I've owned many RWD sports cars/sports sedans that I drove in the snow — e34 M5, is300 Sportcross, fox-body Mustang.

Properly equipped, they can do really well. Even better than a FWD vehicle (think about all those RWD Crown Vic State Patrol cars).


But by "properly equipped" I mean dedicated snow tires. Not all-seasons or (heaven forbid) summer tires.
